Authorities in the Netherlands seized 800 servers and arrested the co-owners of two related internet hosting companies for operating IT infrastructure used by Russia to carry out cyberattacks, influence operations and disinformation campaigns inside the European Union, Krebs on Security reported on May 25. According to the report, the two men had been the focus of a 2025 KrebsOnSecurity story on how their hosting companies assumed control of the technical infrastructure of Stark Industries Solutions, an internet service provider sanctioned by the EU last year as a frequent staging ground for cyber operations by Russia's intelligence agencies.
